Parks strips are generally 4-5 feet wide and finding sprinkler nozzles to accurately keep the water on the grass and not the concrete is nearly impossible. So what ends up happening is 1,000's of gallons of water per year is just wasted on watering concrete and asphalt. We know that just flipping the strip alone isn't going to solve all the problems, but it definitely is a great start.
